1. Agreement to Terms

By requesting services from Melos Tree Service ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Melos Tree Service provides professional tree care services including, but not limited to, tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, emergency tree service, land clearing, and tree health consulting. All services are performed in the Maple Shade, NJ area and surrounding South Jersey communities.

3. Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided by Melos Tree Service are free and non-binding until a written agreement is signed by both parties. Final pricing may vary from initial estimates if:

  • Site conditions differ materially from what was described or observed during the estimate
  • Additional work is requested beyond the original scope
  • Unforeseen hazards or complications are discovered during the job

Any changes to the agreed scope of work will be communicated to the customer before proceeding.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. Melos Tree Service accepts cash, check, and major credit cards. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the service date may be subject to a late fee.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and the work requested
  • Ensure clear access to the work area prior to the scheduled service date
  • Notify Melos Tree Service of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other hazards on the property
  • Obtain any required permits or HOA approvals before work begins

6. Insurance & Liability

Melos Tree Service is fully insured and licensed in the State of New Jersey. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing property conditions, underground utilities not disclosed by the customer, or damage caused by acts of nature.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled service. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a trip charge. Emergency services are non-cancellable once our crew is dispatched.

8. Warranty

Melos Tree Service warrants that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, please contact us within 7 days of service completion and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns.

9. Website Use

10. Privacy
